Orivida Research is seeking a board-certified ophthalmologist to serve as a consulting investigator for clinical trials involving eye-area cosmetic products (e.g., serums, mascaras, eyeliners). This is a part-time, flexible contract role, ideal for a Houston-based physician interested in contributing clinical expertise to the beauty and skincare research space.

·                     You’ll review protocols, conduct ocular assessments, and ensure studies meet safety standards to support claims such as “ophthalmologist tested.”

Requirements

  • Board-certified ophthalmologist (M.D. or D.O.)

  • Licensed in Texas

  • Reside in or near Houston, TX

  • Board-certified fellows may apply

  • Research experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Investigator or Sub-Investigator on clinical studies

  • Perform eye exams to assess tolerability (e.g., redness, tearing, irritation)

  • Review study protocols and final reports

  • Ensure participant safety and protocol compliance

  • Support regulatory documentation as needed
